Cozitot Baby Mei Tai Style Carrier

I am in love, plain and simply, in LOVE with this carrier. Not only is it beautiful, it's very simple and practical as well. The stitched design is very elegant. Three simple colors (baby blue, burgandy, and gold), are entrically stitched on this carrier, making this carrier versatile as well. The dark blue material is great for hiding smudges and dirtiness that comes with a baby or toddler. I have never used a Mei Tai style carrier before and had NO clue how to do it. The simple instructions had me carrying my toddler in about 5 minutes. It's a simple wrap and knot, no slips or anything like that to contend with. I love the closeness that I have with my son when he is in this carrier. He is right there, he can see and feel me and it's just like snuggling with him. This carrier can be used in the front OR the back and is able to hold a baby up to 30 pounds. Another fantastic perk to this carrier, is that I can use it. Me, a plus sized mom who has NEVER been able to find a carrier that didn't squeeze my stomach and back. I have plenty of room with this carrier and it doesn't hurt at all. I cannot say enough about this carrier and how much I love it. I have had friends beg for it already, but this is one item I am going to be using for awhile yet.

My daughter loves these lunch boxes. They are perfect for taking her lunch to school, so long as there isn't anything really liquidy because these are NOT leak proof. It's easy to tell her lunch container from her friends, these colorful lids really make these stand out amongst her friends' lunch containers. These also are supposed to freeze well, making lunches during the week and take and go deal. We like the simplicity and the bright colors of these bowls. They stack well and wash great on the top rack in the dishwasher or in soap and hot water. These are a sunny must have!

Mop and Broom Organizer Wall and Closet Mount

This organizer is fantastic. Another product making my sometimes hectic life simpler! With this organizer, I have managed to clean up my utility closet, get everything but the vacuum off of the floor, and get rid of the anxiety and frustration of digging through the closet to find the broom and dust pan.
This organizer is very easy to install and comes with everything you need, except the Phillips screw driver. I had it up in less than 5 minutes with the drill (who needs a man when you have power tools!). In addition to the 5 grips that will expand to hold thicker handles like shop brooms, there are 6 hooks for random things like dustpans, a bag of bags, scrub brushes, whatever your heart desires really.
I've been wanting one of these since we bought this house, my husband always thought it was stupid and a waste of money. Well, when I get it to review, he can't complain, now can he?? He likes it too. He likes the fact no one is screaming "where's the dustpan" anymore. This is an A+ product in our house!

Chefs Limited 6 Piece Kitchen Utensils Set with Holder

As a wife and mother, I spend my fair share of time in the kitchen. Whether I am cooking a mundane dinner or whipping up a dessert, I insist on using products and utensils that I can work well with and that withstand the wear and tear of a busy kitchen. I also like things that are practical and that don't take up a lot of space. This Chef's Limited 6 Piece Set with Holder is perfect in my kitchen.
First off, the utensils are fantastic quality and can withstand a fair amount of heat. How do I know... I left the spatual in the hamburger meat I was browning while I turned my back to see what my son was doing. Normally, had I done this, the end touching the pan would have started to melt. Not this one... it's still in perfect condition. The handles are fantastic as well. There are little stands on them so that the business end of the utensil is propped up and doesn't rest directly on the counter. Less mess for this momma! I've tried each and every one of these utensils in the last few days from spagetti to frying an egg and am 100% pleased with these bad boys! They are VERY easy to clean (I use soap and water, I am NOT a dishwasher fan).
Ok now, the holder. YAY for not having to dig through the drawer to find that spatula I need while things are starting to burn! Everything is right there, within reach ready to go. I can spin it to whatever I need when I need it with no issues at all. It too is easy to clean, just wipe and dry.
The best part of this set: It takes up very little space on my counter. I hate stuff on my counters, it's a pet peeve. It's like I can feel the dirt and grime and God knows what congregating under stuff. This set picks up easily so I can wash my counter under it daily.

Apalus Hair Straightener Brush

I seriously CANNOT get enough of this brush. It's worked a miracle on this head of mine. I have curly hair. Not just curly hair, but nappy, frizzy, thick, untamed curls. Think Bozo the Clown! I had never straightened my own hair because it took too long and quite honestly, I did not know how. As a child, I dealt with bullies constantly picking on me about my hair and throwing things in it. There were days I would come home and shower and wash my hair. Sunflower seed shells, paper spit balls, and other things would fall out in the shower. I would cry. I would cry so much.... I couldn't help it, God made me with hair like this. I hated it. I hated myself. To this day, I am still so self conscious about my hair and my image. Old women would tell me how beautiful my hair was, how lucky I was, and how they pay a lot of money for their hair to be like mine. I didn't care. They were old women, I was a 13 year old girl. A white girl with an Afro. It was hell.
A few weeks ago, a product on Facebook caught my eye and I could NOT stop thinking about it. I obsessed with it. Constantly Googling it and trying to find one I could afford. Through a chain of events, I was able to receive the Apalus Hair Brush Straightener free in exchange for my honest review of it. I was ELATED. I had NEVER straightened my own hair and I most certainly cannot afford to pay someone daily to do it for me. Not to mention, when I DID have it straightened, it took a couple of hours, my hair is THAT thick and curly.

With the Apalus, not only can I straighten my own hair, but I can do it in UNDER 30 minutes total. I simply brush it, separate it, and use the Straightener brush. I use the hottest setting (it's recommended for 230 degrees for thick curly hair) and just slowly brush my hair. Easy as pie. I have used this twice in the last 3 days, with amazing results. It's very easy to use and effective. In no time at all, I have straight hair. I use Argan Oil to help calm the frizz, but it's NOTHING like when I don't straighten my hair. The bristles themselves do get hot (obviously) so do not touch those. The tips do not though, which means you won't be burning your scalp while using this. There is also a thumb protector where the handle meets the brush, to help protect your fingers from getting burned... an ingenious idea. I really love this straightener. Thanks Apalus! Magnus - Heavy Duty Double Edge Safety Razor Long Handled

My father in law saw that I got this to review and got very excited. He asked if he could have it, how could I say no? Neither my husband, nor myself had ever used a razor like this and my father in law has, so he made the perfect candidate to try this one out. The blades themselves are very sharp. I nearly cut myself when I was pulling everything out to photograph it. This set comes with 2 blades. This safety razor is a good beginners razor, it's designed with safe shaving in mind. It provides a smooth and close shave, no stubble. It's also easy to clean. Just rinse everything off and let it air dry. My father in law loves this razor, he says it sort of reminds him of when he first learned to shave and already has me ordering replacement blades so he never runs dull!

Ultralight Hammock Straps

These straps were fun to review. So much fun, I can still hear the kids laughing outside as they take turns swinging each other on the hammock. I used these straps on a hammock we bought for my daughter for her birthday earlier this year. They are holding up very well, tied between 2 oak trees. While there are no instructions included, but the seller emails you a link for an instructional video. I myself extra tied mine as I have a fear of falling. I am plus sized as is my daughter and with these straps, we aren't worried if they aren't going to hold as they hold up to 500 pounds. I even put my toddler in the hammock, I was that comfortable with the hold. So far, they haven't faulted or slipped, causing the hammock to droop further to the ground and are VERY easy to untie when we are finished.
These hammock straps come in a handy holding bag so that they can be neatly stored together when not in use. They are durable and should last a long time, when taken care of. I am pleased with these straps and look forward to hours of laying out reading.
